Certification Services:

The basis of the agreement between ECE and DNV is as follows:

ECE Global provides CE Marking certification services as part of DNV Certification Inc. Our staff is fully integrated in DNV training and certification requirements and hence is considered part of the group.

To prevent a conflict of interest, we are certain you understand that ECE Global cannot and will not provide consultative support in conjunction with certification services. If you seek effective consulting support with your project, we are equipped to do so as part of our Pre-Certification & Consulting Services. As soon as we engage in a consulting agreement with you, all certification services will be provided through DNV Certification Inc exclusively.

Pre-Certification & Consulting Services

ECE Global acts as an independent Pre-Certification & Consulting Services provider in the field of consultative validation and certification services in engineering, fabrication, product realization, as well as quality systems.

We support your strategies and fill gaps and needs, implementing procedures and approval strategies or actual approvals based on your individual vision.

In the event that you seek approvals and accept DNV Services, ECE Global can prepare your organization for the official approvals. Once our task is completed, you deliver our results to inspectors from DNV, who will complete the task.
In addition to cost and time savings, you will benefit from a high level of approval success rates on the first try. This is related to the fact that ECE professionals are part of DNV training programs and exchange meetings.

This alliance works due to the fact that we have significant experience obtaining certification according to US, European laws and requirements.

What can we do?

We can assist with services related to the following directives:

• Simple Pressure Equipment

We are qualified to perform certification services for pressure equipment and welding. Depending on the Equipment/Product Category and the required CE Marking Assessment Procedures for compliance, DNV acts as the official review and approval body. If the Equipment/Product Category allows self declarations, we can act without DNV’s involvement.

Please note: Not all classes of pressure equipment require the involvement of a Notified Body. There are specific rules and requirements which mandate Notified Body involvement. We can review your product and determine when and if a Notified Body is mandated, thus offering our clientele a potential for additional cost savings.

When equipment must be approved by a Notified Body, we cannot provide consulting services and certification services at the same time. However, if the equipment is not subject to the approval by a Notified Body, we are available to support your organization with all services involved to obtain certification of your product.
